Two in court over home-invasion death
A woman pleaded guilty to criminal charges and another was sentenced today in a robbery scheme that left one of their accomplices dead.
Jalisha Artis, 17, of Rotunda Court S on the East Side, pleaded guilty to one count each of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery for a home invasion in Whitehall March 25. Artis' case was bound over to Franklin County Common Pleas Court from Juvenile Court.
Johnecca Wharton, 19, of Madison Avenue on the East Side, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the same crimes. She had already pleaded guilty.
